Abstract

The paper explores the potential of simplifying the deployment of IoT systems by establishing a single open standard for modular architecture. It examines how the lack of unified standards in IoT leads to fragmented solutions and deployment challenges. The paper reviews existing attempts at IoT modularity as limited forms of standardization, highlighting the need for a comprehensive open standard
